When someone in my life behaves in a way that I really disagree with, I see it as a gift. They are showing me ways I really don’t want to act like, or they said things to me I would never want to say to anyone else. The negativity they showed me changes me in such a positive way. I’m sorry your parents couldn’t have buried their differences and showered you with love. That must have been difficult… so difficult.
